I'm finding out that when I'm most content with the way that my life is going, I don't even realize that I'm making my own plans and not letting God do His work...then, I realize that I am three years ahead of myself...and God intervenes saying, "My child, come to me...Don't you know that I have bigger dreams for you than you have for yourself. Don't you realize that it is ALL under MY control."
Yeah, I had it all figured out last Thursday, and then things completely changed. God threw me a curve ball...one that I wasn't expecting at all.
And now, I'm smiling b/c of it.
And trying not to laugh because I thought I knew it all.

I hate two things...
1 - technology - I'm trying to put my video of my lesson on the computer, but it is not working...the person who is supposed to help me is leaving, and the person who is on the computer that i need is not finished. contrary to popular belief, i have a lot more things that i could be doing right now...stupid student teaching assignments. also copy machines hate me.
2 - This new xanga format...i don't really understand it. it's not been a good technology day for me.
Well, I guess it's back to paper grading...boring.

1. again it has been a little while...i am sorry. things are busy...life is good, i think.
2. last weekend i went to colorado for fall break with 4 friends...it was an excellent time but my car overheated...stupid radiator...it is fixed but needs to be looked at to make sure everything is definately ok.
3. i am almost half way through first semester...this year is going by WAY WAY too fast. and i don't want to think about it. but i have to register for graduation sometime soon. I AM NOT READY TO GRADUATE. i am going to miss my friends WAY WAY too much!!!!
4. I saw Legally Blonde the musical on MTV yesterday...this makes me very happy. i love musical theater.
5. Right now, I'm thinking that I'm going to look for a job in Iowa, Michigan, Illinois, and Indiana. Favorite cities to look at...Des Moines, Bloomington (IN), Peoria, Champaign, Indianapolis, and anywhere that is fairly close to GR.
6. It is cold and rainy today. i don't think i'll be looking at Washingtong state anymore...the constant drizzle would drive me crazy.
